Coast to Coast charity bike ride for Fountaindale school

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

170 miles… 3 days… 2 wheels

That’s what our very own John Starkie will be cycling to raise money for the Fountaindale SEN school in Mansfield.

Supporting long standing customer Hall-Fast Industrial Supplies, who have committed to raising £50k for the school, a team of local business, friends and general do gooders will start pedalling at the end of April from Morecambe across to Bridlington.

Described as professionally stationary for most of his working life John is hoping to “reach the end alive”

Working with young people is a lot of fun! So we’ve really been enjoying working with D.A.R.E and a group of young folks from the Brunts Academy in Mansfield in creating some educational films .

D.A.R.E is a fantastic organisation that educates young people about drugs, violence and general life skills. Filmed in a green screen studio, we had a special guest for the shoot in the form of the High Sheriff of Nottingham!

The films will be released in the next month so stay tuned!

We’re excited to let you know we’ve recently undertaken our second day of filming all natural products for Weleda UK. We’ve been in gardens, in waterfalls and in Kitchens getting some fantastic footage. We can’t wait to show you the results

We are once again proud to announce we have been selected as the video partner for the Chamber of Commerce Best Business Awards for Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire! We’ll shortly be travelling the length and breadth of the two counties filming the finalist for the awards evening (some 56 films in total).

This has been the second year A-Star Media have been awarded the contract and we are really excited the make the films even bigger and better!

We’ve been filming some great Helly Hansen product demonstration films for Hall-Fast Industrial Supplies Ltd in Mansfield. The films will help online shoppers get a little bit more information about the Helly Hansen workwear range when browsing the Hall-Fast website.

The films will be launched online via YouTube to add the Hall-Fast product video portfolio

Viva Las Vegas for Forever Green

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We’ve recently been working with our friends at Forever Green in Mansfield to create a promo film for their 2013 Christmas parties!

This festive season the theme is Viva Las Vegas! Our task was to recreate a Vegas casino environment complete which crazy characters and a larger than life narrative. We can’t wait to set the film free in the next few weeks via social media channels. Check back soon!

We’ve just started a small tour of the UK filming for Infotec on behalf of Simply Marketing. Infotec produce electronic signage primarily for use on train station platforms. If you’ve ever ridden on a train you’ve probably checked your departure times by looking up at an Infotec display.

Over the next few weeks we’ll be stopping  at Cardiff, St. Pancras, Euston, the London Underground and many more places, before our final stop at Infotec HQ in Ashby.
